Ursula Le Guin is one of my favorite female science fiction authors. A few weeks ago, I wrote her a card, enclosed a SASE, and * asked for signed bookplates . Today, they arrived in the mail. Joy, is a tangible connection to an author whom I admire and who has influenced my work. * When I sent my SASE/card, she still had the offer for bookplates posted. I must have just made it in under the wire.
