finding daily joy
I want to live in a world where we see with new eyes and delight every day. Eyes that are in love with the world, with our families, with our work, with the world. Where magic is sprinkled throughout the quotidian of driving to work, changing diapers, scheduling appointments.
For so long I’d forgotten what that magic was like and mostly noticed the clouds that fell, the relationships that broke, the poverty all around me. Until I began to practice noticing.
For years, I’ve seen relationships crumble, jobs fizzle, and dreams fade. All because we forgot how to see with delight and curiosity.
I want you to have a chance to notice delight and cultivate joy.
I want our world to be a world of delight. A world that, despite hiccups and bumps, is filled with joy.
So I’ve created a program designed to awaken and arouse: a four-week journey of uncovering what brings YOU joy.
Right now I want you to think about your day. What was something that surprised you or someone who exceeded your expectations? Write it down!
The official adventure starts July 4th, with the new moon, but really, the journey begins as soon as you decide to come along .
Some helpful map markers:
- Email prompts will be sent out twice a week— one on Wednesdays and one on Fridays— for four weeks.
- We’ll begin with a one-hour call. The call will be recorded and available in case you can’t make it.
- There will be a secret Facebook group where we can share daily joys.
- Cost is $85
“It’s contagious seeing other people get joy from something small you did. It also just changes your whole outlook. I found I was less judgmental, more forgiving when I was looking for joy to receive and share… Even on days when I felt like I might not have a joy to share, I got joy from reading other people’s joys.” – Debbie McFeinics
